Durable winter tights for visibility and endurance

Designed for winter riding, these hard-working, durable tights offer maximum comfort and insulation in cold conditions. A soft, brushed fleece lining traps warm air to insulate your legs, while flatlock stitching helps to prevent chafing. A DWR (durable water repellent) coating repels water, and reflective Brevet stripes at the ankle and reflective inserts in the rear seams increase visibility in low light. The chamois dries much more quickly than our standard pad, for comfort on multi-day adventures.

Reviews:

“These Brevet Tights have all the credentials needed for any long distance ride, but they're also perfect for more modest cycling, from the long Sunday social to daily office commutes. They provide all the quality you'd hope for at this price: they're supremely comfortable and keep the cold and rain at bay.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great winter riding longs Perfect for early morning winter rides in Melbourne! Washes well, warm and really comfortable, had them for about 2 months now and still as good as new. I'm 183cm, 82kg's with long-ish legs and the Medium fits great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and warm Beautiful fit and attention to detail. Wonderful fabric... warm and comfortable. They look good too. After finding the pro team tights not a great fit for me (sprinter build) these seem just perfect. Only downside is slightly too long for me, but I need to upsize for the glutes and quads! I'm 5'8" and 80kg and wearing the LARGE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm all-weather bibs/tights - just tad long Good for very cold weather, and ok into the high-teens before you will truly overheat. DWR treatment works well. It won't keep you completely dry, but in 1 hour of pouring rain, I find I'm still warm with my feet annoying me far more. They are rather heavy as the main material is a good couple of mm thick. The pad is the thickest I've seen in bibs. More comfortable than other Rapha bibs...I'm not sure. The legs have good stretch so you can have them over the top of shoe covers (which I find helps keep your feet drier longer). This also means I wasn't bothered by the reflective details being so low. However the leg length is at least a good 5cm too long. I wear XL in all Rapha bibs, and aside from the leg length I'd say I'm still XL (174cm, 86kg). I have to ensure the excess bunching is occurring at calf level to avoid it being an issue. It does mean the reflective details get folded a fair bit. Still earns 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfort and Warmth Just got out on my first ride with these tights. Temperatures were 36F and a cold rain was falling. The tights kept me warm and comfortable. In addition, the chamois was very comfortable and the tight fit true to size and the same as other Rapha bib shorts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have for winter riding! These tights are stylish and fit nicely - they keep you warm but not too hot and have good wind resistance and water repellent features. I also like the added reflective features - so you can be seen!

The medium should fit based upon these dimensions. However you would be able to return the garment to us if this does not meet your suitability with the 90 day returns policy.

Have just ordered this one but which one is better for the winter this one or the pro team with pad it has wind stopper will this one stop the wind as well

Asked by: Keithm61
The Pro Team tights are designed for cycling at high intensity, so will have a tighter fit and are in general more ventilated as they take into account the body's riding temperature when riding at intensity. The Brevet have a more relaxed fit and are designed with comfort in mind. The Brevet are designed for touring and more relaxed, long distance rides and will have slightly more insulation.

I am 6 ft 4, 14.5 st, 37 inch waist and 34 inch inside leg. I was thinking of going XXL but would value your recommendation. I'm long in the back and don't want tight shoulder straps. Thanks

Hi Guys - Size help please. Normally I'm a small. Here I seem to have about an 86cm waist measurement which would put me at a medium, but inside leg is about 76cm, not even to the base of my ankle but right to the floor. So short legs I guess. Help?
