An Introduction to the Rapha Prestige
The Rapha Prestige is not a race; it’s an unsupported, unsanctioned, and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain, and designed to bring out the camaraderie and suffering of road riding. The rules are simple, and the course is tough. Team members must ride and finish together.
The Rapha Prestige Kamikatsu takes place in Tokushima, Shikoku island, Japan. Located in south east Japan, Kamikatsu in the middle of nowhere, is known its smallest population in this region, means having mountainous full of nature.
The route offers gravel, steep ascents, lonely roads and long forestial climbs inspired by the origins of road riding. Riders can expect to find the route challenging, but to learn the primitive joy of road cycling by the end.
