A/W 09 Range: Sneak Peek No.1

Exhibit A
Sticking our neck out for the cyclist who isn’t afraid to show some flair, an adornment for the refined cyclist whose supplesse is as elegant as his attire. New pattern design for 2009 but already a popular product unique to Rapha.

Exhibit B
For a discerning mind and head, the dandy in the bunch, one who delights in the finer things in life: sport as art, gastronomy, literature and hunting. A set of three that nod towards tailored style and luxury at the drop of a hat. Turning a cycling classic on its head, Rapha have produced three idiosyncratic designs inspired by gentlemen’s tailoring.
The Autumn/Winter Range launches 1st September 2009

So I'm guessing 'A' is a neck scarf, but what could 'B' be? Some sort of hat, with retro logo… surely not binning the class Rapha logo already? Whatever it is, I'm lovin' the look of it already!

Its hardly a sneak peek though is it!!
Having said that - that is a killer pattern!

Mr. Seamark, your guess is as good as Mr. Lawrence's and whether he is suggesting we are showing too much or too little of what's in store, he is also correct that the pattern is indeed 'killer'. Which leads me to ask the question: what exactly constitutes a 'sneak peek', have we given too much away already?
As for Exhibit B… wait and see.

Agreed a great pattern for the neck scarf, looking forward to that, and maybe a flat cap to go with it…?

mmmm flat cap, in that case I need to source a nice grey whippet with a pink collar to run alongside me when I'm wearing my cap and riding my fixie.
By 'eck it sounds grand already.

Its nowhere near enough!!! I am beside myself with excitement and anticipation of the new season stock and I am left with a material swatch (all be it a very elegant one) and some cryptic verse!
Mind you I know I wont be happy until all the new kit is hanging in my cycling cupboard!

I love the neck scarf. A brilliant take on the traditional paisley pattern. Who came up with that?
B? Silk helmet covers? Rapha bowler hats?
Whatever they are, they look good.

Although, clearly NOT "silk".

I'll eat my hat if 'Exhibit B' isn't a hat…I'm currently sporting a dandy tweed flat cap from Spittalfield Market in London on the odd cycle foray. Am I'm ahead of Rapha for once?

Hats off to you, Mr. Baglee. If flat caps are the way to get ahead (no pun intended) then you surely are striding in front of Rapha on that one. Tweed suits are also welcome.

Looking forward to the tweed flat cap for my bold head! another Rapha head cover to add to my collection…
Hey, after 4 Tours won by Spaniards in a row, isn't it time you guys do a Spanish country jersey?
