The hotels for Rapha Randonnées have been chosen to offer a warm welcome to cyclists with an emphasis, where possible, on family run, non-chain establishments in beautiful locations.
Randonnée Appennini
1st night:
A restored medieval property situated just inside the city walls of Lucca.
2nd night:
After a tough opening day, the night is spent in Poretta Terme’s best spa hotel.
3rd night:
Stunning panoramic views are our reward on the third night for the climb up to a hotel overlooking the Casentino valley.
4th night:
Will be spent in a recently refurbished palazzo in the centre of vibrant Urbino.
5th night:
Stopping over in another historic property, a 17th century converted monastery in Gubbio.
6th night:
Castelraimondo is the location for our hotel which consists of a number of traditional buildings which have been renovated and connected together.
Final night:
After completing the Randonnée Appennini, you will arrive in Ascoli Piceno. Our hotel here is the former stable and workshops of a 13th century mansion belonging to a family of Ascoli nobility.

Randonnée Alpine
1st night:
We stay in Evian, overlooking Lake Geneva. The 4* hotel consists of a number of refurbished farm buildings.
2nd night:
Spent in the stunning ski resort of Megéve. The hotel is a 4* in the traditional alpine style with carved detail throughout.
3rd night:
Stoping over in Brides les Bains, accommodation is a simple but comfortable 3* overlooking the town.
4th night:
Alpe d'Huez is our hme for the evening and the 3* hotel offers stunning views over the Grand Rousses massif.
5th night:
After a gruelling 4th day we spend the night in Jausiers at an intimate 4* family run hotel with outdoor pool and spa facilities. The hotel restaurant is extremely well regarded by locals.
6th night:
St Martin Vesubie is the location, a charming small town almost overlooking the Med. We've chosen a cosy, down to earth hotel here where we're sure to receive a warm welcome.
Final night:
Arriving in Nice, residence is at a stunning waterfront hotel with amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Angels.

Randonnée Pyrénéenne
1st night:
We start in Biarritz, staying at a grand, beach side spa hotel, the former summer residence of Napoleon.
2nd night:
The next day we move to a modern and comfortable family run hotel with a great restaurant on the outskirts of the market town of Oloron.
3rd night:
A beautifully restored, former coaching inn in the shadow of Col du Tourmalet awaits us. Run by a chef and his family, we can expect some great food at the mid-point of the randonnée.
4th night:
A modern and stylish 4* hotel in the heart of Luchon is our home for the evening.
5th night:
An intimate 3* in the tiny village of Gincla, personally recommended by Rapha’s Simon Mottram.
Final night:
We finish up in the charming fishing village of Collioure with a charming 3* hotel situated in the heart of the old town.
